Hi,I have asked Paypal the following but still wait a respponse, so was wondering if anyone here could offer some advice.I joined a United Kingdom based forum that required a yearly subscription fee II am based in United Kingdom). I was surprised to find that once I had paid for 1 years subscription, my Paypal account automatically signed me up for auto renewal once the yearly subscription had expired? I immediately cancelled auto-renewal in my Paypal account and sent a request to forum owner requesting my details be removed from their records. I also let them know that I thought it was a sneaky way of doing business. The forum owner responded saying the auto-renew was not down to him, it was something set up by Paypal in my account. Can someone please advise if it is indeed the forum owner who setup the auto-renew or does Paypal do it? There was no option to setup auto-renew anywhere in the payment process so I cannot understand why it was set up.Best RegardsTed
Since it was from PayPal, its them who do it. And if you have canceled it from your PP account then there is nothing to worry. Its same here too for premium membership but there are options to buy with or without renewal thing.
That's right PP charged for auto renew via credit card if you forget cancel before new renewal date. so always check your due payments
We all are very familiar with E-commerce where all the transaction of business are done at online and also there are many ways for doing a payment at online.PayPal is very popular and trustful money transferring or payment method.
There is a difference between subscription and buy now options in PayPal, make sure you cancel your subscriptions after making the payments.
