I am building a store to sell digital downloads and want to use PayPal to process credit/debit cards or take payments from PayPal balances. My question is would PayPal put you off, even though you can pay via credit card without having a paypal account?
Hey MobileInternet, I wouldn't be put off since I use Paypal a ton, but you might also consider adding Google Checkout too. I think they are a little cheaper ratewise as well.
If you are creating website than you have to provide at least two payment methods that what I suggest, you can use paypal, credit card or google checkout there so many other methods are also available.
Yes, i would consider not to use Paypal. Its not a friendly payment processor for Indians. We can't buy stuffs with it, unless we have a CC attached. You can try adding DC payments, Payza and also Skrill. Integrating 2CO or CCAvenue would also be great.
Everyone has paypal. use paypal. put google checkout for the 1% of the world to use in case they're somehow trapped under a rock in the middle of the ocean and haven't set up a paypal. (gawd, i hate paypal)
