when receiving money in paypal. how to know if funds sent to me came from account balance or credit card ? and how to disable receiving money from credit cards ? (if possible)
Yes no way you'll ever know if it's from paypal balance or credit card. Why would you want that info anyway? Perhaps to avoid credit card chargebacks? If you sell something honestly, you'll get honest buyers. On little occasions, you may get some dishonest buyers but it'll not affect your bottomline...
Even with selling quality products you will still get charge backs because there are ass holes in this world who want everything for free And with selling downloads, you can't prove tracking number for delivery.
hi does any one know how to make a paypal account without having to put in a visa card ?? im really struggliing cos i want to have payments paid in and dont have a visa !
You can try: MoneyBookers dot com, MB does not charge to receive money and does not have the charge-back thing either, so you're protected from that. As if you're a legitimate seller, then you're safe from not-so-good buyers. PayPal does not charge to withdraw / transfer your PayPal account money to your bank while MB does charge you a fee to transfer your money from your MB account to your bank. MB and PayPal, they have things are pretty similar. Just that MB is in Europe and PayPal is in USA. And BTW, you CAN update the tracking number that you obtained from the couriers onto PayPal, hence accordingly to specific transaction. Another thing, usually when the buyer paid via eCheck, you should be able to tell. If paid by "Instant Transfer", either straight from his/her PayPal's account balance or transfer from the bank. As far as by CC or PayPal's account balance, no ways to tell. Good luck, Musashi
You don't necessarily required to enter a Visa cc / bank card. You can also use your MasterCard card or American Express card. Hoped my input could help. Regards, Musashi
You can also use a debit card. It acts like a credit card as well. Everything is the same except that you pay immediately via bank deductions through a debit card unlike a credit card where you get bill statements every month.
I already use MB for a year and a half and even have a merchant account with them so all features are unlimited for me but paypal is widely used and If I stop accepting it I will lose much money so I need paypal without ability to accept credit cards. If just they show if a payment came from credit card or paypal balance I can reject those who come from credit cards.
With personal accounts you can, since credit card payments prompt you to Accept or Deny the payment - and has deductions and takes a while to reflect in your account balance - while Paypal balance goes in directly. If you don't want to receive credit card payments, no use of getting a premier/business I think haps the word business lol.
It was an email. I got the auto responder message 1 min after I sent mine and nothing after that. Maybe someone from US can call them ?
