    Hi,

let's say i want to sell an ebook-script- or any other thing that may be delivered by internet\email.

Is it possible to let the buyer download the product as soon as payment has been sent?

    Thank you for your help

yes, I think it can be done. However, it will be easier if you register your product at clickbank, they will manage the payment and you can easily control your affiliate program.

you don't have to worry about mantaining your site, checking affiliate sales, etc. You just have to worry about your landing page. On the other hand, you can hire a coder to make a custom solution for you using the paypal API.

Of course, it is possible. If you can integrate paypal into your website, you can definitly do that.
Check out the Paypal Developer center at https://developer.paypal.com/ where you can get some sample codes.

Just go to paypal, go to merchant tools, and from there, find exactly what you want to put on your site for people to pay and then where to send them when they pay.

ablaye: Yes, those developer pages do have some sample code. But from my experience it was never turn-key or that friendly to get going.

iowadawg: Yes, paypal does offer a very basic return URL with encrypted links. However once someone purchases the item, that secret url is shown to them and they can share it with anyone they know.

The advantage of using Paypal Download Manager is the fact that it is turn-key and easy to use. It comes with a simple admin panel to control everything and simply add products. Then each payment is checked, verified and a email is sent out with a secure download link. Also you can set the download to expire which cuts off any chances of them sharing the download links. With all the features and security, Paypal Download Manager would pay for itself the very first month.
