One of my customer filed for chargeback stating ITEM not Recvd.

When she got the order , she called up her bank on Tuesday and asked to cancel the chargeback claim.

She said that bank told her that it may take 5-7 days before they can intimate paypal regarding cancellation

Till today, I am STILL waiting for the chargeback claim to get cancel.I called paypal and paypal says they are YET to get any intimation form the bank and it may take 5-7 days.

Amount is 402$ , so its big amount for me.

What kind of experience you guys have /had ?

I think that you're going to be okay, just give it 5-7 days and see what happens. I had problems like this but with digital products.... :/

If the buyer has already initiated the charge back withdrawal, there is no reason for you to remain tense anymore.

The process takes time and you would be surely having the good money in your account within few days.....provided of course, the buyer is genuine and honest.

No need to worry and worth to wait 5-7 days more for this.

BTW also keep shipping details, conversion with your buyer etc. for your own safety in case money reverse.

    DON.

Yes wait the amount of time. But make sure to followup and stay in contact with your bank and customer just in case.

Don't wait, act quickly. Paypal has a dispute process, follow-it. Log into Paypal and find the disputes section and the claim. Then follow their process, make sure it is written and logged, not over the phone. Write the exact details, such as it was shipped out, buyed requested funds to be cancelled because item was to arrive late, then item was received and buyer has request that their bank not chargeback. Put in dates and tracking info for anything you have.
