Hi everyone, I do a lot of xfers with paypal and the fees are about 6-10% for my transactions since the xfers are only $0.50-$10.00. I've been researching other online transaction services like Moneybookers and Western Union these have similar fees or higher. Anyone know a lower fee transfer that is reliable? Thanks for any help.

Use Liberty Reserve. They offer the lowest fees. For a similar paypal alternative use AlertPay.

I thought you had to go through a third party with liberty reserve? How does that work exactly?

It is perfectly fine to search for alternatives in order to save on transaction fees... but then, how many of your clients would readily oblige the change and agree to shift with you? :(

Paypal scores... simply for its very wide reach and unparalleled customer base!

It took a week for me to verify my documents with alertpay. Contact them or resend the documents. Better off call them -> You will get a quicker response
