Since PayPal has announced some restrictions for Indians, many users are now looking out for alternatives that can help them survive in online world. With sudden changes in PayPal’s policies, people are left with very limited options. If you’re running an online business from India and relying on PayPal services, you should be ready with the alternative. On March 1, 2011, the company will apply restrictions on Indian accounts so that they can comply with RBI guidelines. To make things bit simpler, here are some useful PayPal alternatives: AlertPay Moneybookers 2CheckOut PayPay Fastspring iKobo Xoom E-junkie CCNow ProPay Google Checkout DirectPay Western Union credit card If you know any other PayPal alternative, please share.
I don't find any problem with whatever is gonna happen from 1st March. If you got a CC, no problem at all.
Well, thats also not a problem. If you do big transactions that means you stand well good in bank and they won't have any problem in giving you Good amount as limit per month. And if you don't then also no problem as you won't need it much.
well it's not that simple as it looks, google : icici bank credit card reviews, Hdfc bank credit card reviews or read them on mouthshut.com and then you will know how big time credit card companies goofup.
I know all that boy. And I believe HDFC is best if you want CC in a private bank. And since there is no other option left we can only use CC with Paypal or else VCC to directly pay anyone.
Just use online banking to deposit money in your credit card account and your limit will go up again. That's what I used to do when I had an ICICI credit card. 3.5% with ICICI bank. http://www.icicibank.com/Personal-Banking/cards/Consumer-Cards/Credit-Card/instant-gold-details.html
Hi friends, could someone give me some more clarity on what are the limitations or changes from March 1st? i got the email but still am a bit confused. Whats the 500 USD limit? cheers Josh
1. Can't keep any money in Paypal account. 2. Can't receive more than $500 per transaction. Split transactions allowed though - like $400 + $200. 3. Paypal will initiate automatic bank transfer, if you have Paypal balance for more than 7 days. 4. Can't buy any goods or services using Paypal balance. You can add credit card and use it to buy stuff. RBI is the culprit. Last February 2010 they banned all electronic transactions. This February 2011 they have come with bigger plan If you would like to oppose this decision, please fill this India's Petition to RBI
