Paypal Alternative?

I have just had my Paypal account set to limited access. I am sick of this, not the first time it has happened and I havent done anything wrong! I am looking for a service similar to paypal. I need to be able to accept credit card payments for digital downloads. I dont want to pay any set up fees or monthly fees. Is there anything else out there the same as paypal?

    Cheers

    Simon.

Alternatives of PayPal : MoneyBookers, Liberty Reserve, eGold, WebMoney, Pecunix, 2Checkout.

BTW, what do they need to remove the limitation and what was it about, i mean why is your account limited. Please share with members.

i know how much trouble now paypal cause just for logging into a account from different IP... some ISP change IP which result in paypal limited a account... this causing many people pain in the ass... so i will suggest you to check your IP everytime you connect to the internet and if you find that the IPs changing then stop logging from that ISP. change your ISP to one that dont change IP or use proxy...

I dont know why my account is limited again, possibly the ip address I use. They want photo id, bank statement and a utility bill (which i dont have because bills are included in my rent). I have added Alertpay in place of Paypal, but it seems that customers have to sign up everytime they want to buy something.

Try to phone them and telling them that you don't pay the housing bills. Ask if a mobile phone bill fit their needs :)
You may also edit an utility bill and put your name and address on it.. Dont forget to edit the headers of the picture :D or better hire a freelancer to do it for you...

P.S. You didnt heard this from me :D

I think that Google Checkout is the best way to pay on the web BUT they only provide a service for the US and the UK.

I am in the UK but many of the sellers that I want to buy from are not US or UK sellers.

Can I pay with a UK credit card to a seller using Paypal, without having an account with paypal?

I mean if I go in to a store in London, I can pay with my credit card without having to join any thing!

    Maybe you can try paypay.com
Have a look at their website. Don't ask me their level of service because I haven't got the chance to use it as well.

I will give paypay a go. I sent off all my info to paypal and got an email asking for transaction info and tracking details, all of my transactions are of non tangiable goods (downloads) or website submissions.

I really wish there was something that could be done about Paypals service, secure yes, ott YES!

Try moneybookers or alertpay. They can both be funded via credit cards and functions similarly to paypal.

Paypal asked me for more info and later on today I recieved a nice email thanking me for my help with their security measures. I am now Paypal verified with all my limits lifted. Ok, I lost 2 days trading, but now I can add Paypal Verified to my websites.

Thank you all for your help.

    Simon.

    You should try 2checkout

You will loose clients by using systems requiring your customers to sign up

You should try Moneybookers. The only flaw is that not many accept it as a payment option... except for betting companies ;)

Clients have to register too with Paypay

In Europe you have companies like commercegate and allopass, both free to use (no set up fee -like 2co- or monthly fee)
