Hello Pay Pal is also asking for the mobile number apart from the PAN no for Indians. Is it mandatory to provide the mobile number in order to log on and do some transaction? Or by simply putting in the PAN no. one can do the same? Please advise if you have any idea regarding this. Another thing, is it possible to withdraw money to the bank from the personal accounts or you can only do it through the business accounts? Please clarify. evasan
Yes Paypal also asking for mobile no. to confirm but it is not too hard I think. and you can withdrawal your funds from personal paypal account business account is not compulsory for it.
No, mobile numbers are not compulsory with Paypal. Think about it, although mobiles are very common, not everyone has got one and not everyone wants to use it in relation to financial transactions.
If you do business then start maintaining proper accounts and follow all regulations by govt. if not you will be in trouble sooner or later.

There is no harm giving your mobile number to them so go ahead and enter your's there. You can withdraw funds from all types of paypal accounts (personal,premier,business). DON.
I think nothing wrong with giving mobile number to them as far as they are workign fine and dont make much mess for their users.
Telephone number is compulsory for paypal. Paypal is asking every thing because of recent ban in India.
