Well, you can be born a Pakistani but residing in another country like the US or something. You cannot fault someone for being born in a banned country. It is not like everyone who leaves their country would give up its citizenship and take up another.
Is it not possible to open bank account in UK/USA online? and use any relative residential address in paypal. Manage bank account online, and withdraw money using online bank?????
Not in the US as they require you to open the account in person at the counter if you are not a US citizen. However, I believe the other option which some did was to open a trading account with e-trade and they can provide you with a banking account.
I was really very very happy seeing this thread that paypal listed Pakistan but as i start reading it, all happiness gone gone... BUT ... recently i came to know that one of my relatives is doing some kind of job in a UK bank so i hope after talking or discussing to him, im able to have a Paypal account. cheers
OK, what if ... living in Pakistan if you open a paypal account select your country as UK or any other and then you start accessing that account by a pakistan IP, i think they will ban that account for security reasons, its same as if someone use a UK bank's credit card from US the transction will be declined surely for security reasons becaause of the IP.
By reading the thread name I thought that paypal is now available in Pakistan but ......... I don't know that why they are not introducing paypal in Pakistan.
if someone know any company like Xoom.com who accept payment from Paypal and send to your bank account in Pakistan ?
Firstly, I would like to point out that pakistani residents can open Indian paypal accounts but the risk would be theirs as a DP member had tried this before but Paypal got his i.p. and "limited" his account. I guess it is better to avoid such a situation by using help from online users. Al
I have also tried this method , but when PP caught my ip , they banned my account . so its not easy to use PP from pakistan.
For your poor information sake Mr. Muneeb2Good, it is not because of "OLD geographical layout" that PAKISTAN has been excluded from PayPal List. It is because PAKISTAN does not recognise ISRAEL as a sovriegn state and hence PayPal excluded Pakistan from its list of countries in retaliation, as PayPal is an Israeli venture. IT IS THAT SIMPLE. NO TRUE PAKISTANI could put PAKISTAN's name under Indian citizenship, neither should any bastard advise it as remedy, at any cost. Ishaq Chughtai
Argh! I did that, I used my name es Lal Prasad Sharma, I did everything changed address via assistance from an indain guy, unfortunately the name on the account was Lal Prasad Sharma and we couldnt find guy like that.
i do not try above trick but i know one thing if paypal catch then they do not listen and limit ur account which means after a specific time u can withdraw ur money and in some cases u can never.
I dont think its anything to do with race or religion why Paypal is not in Pakistan. Put it this way IF YOU OWNED PAYPAL and were not Pakistani. Would you opearte in a country that: a) has high credit card fraud in general b) You (Paypal) have already operated there and pulled out because of fraud/problems c) There could be questonble money laundering transactions, or transactions that look like such, wich could embarrise your patient company in the USA d) that has a fragmented/regional banking system, each with different systems. It also depends what action YOUR GOVENMENT does to combat fraud, do they follow it up ?, does the govenment care and try to stop it. Ok thern there is my country New Zealand 1) 10 lowest countries for Fraud-Low risk 2) 5 Lowest country for Money Laundering-Low risk 3) 2nd Less Corrupt country in the world-Low risk 4) Intergrated easy to work out bank system 5) Police procute and follow up fraud here in New Zealand, even if it was done overseaes or on a computer. 6) We are not in a war with anyone (so no transactions for arms etc) Im not try to say my country is better, but as a bussiness person, it A LOT higher risk operating in Pakistan, cant you see that from an outside view ??. Plus Paypal has been tried before in Pakistan, how will it be different this time ??.
