    Hey guys, i need help..

Last month my account type in paypal changed from personal to premier account. I was not aware of it. Because of this, the fees are very high on receiving payments.

I want to change it back to personal account. What is the procedure. Will i be able to change my account back? Need help please. Make it asap...

If you are using your paypal account for business purposes and not just receiving money from friends, you need to use a premier account.

If you are only spending from your paypal account, like a personal individuals then you can go for the personal account.

Why not just create another personal account to solve the problem. One premier account for accepting credit cards payment and one personal account to receive small payment amount.

This is prohibited by the contract you agreed to when you sign up with paypal. You cannot spilt between the two accounts just to save on the charges. When they find out they will deduct the fees from all your transactions from way back.

If you are truly no longer receiving any payments through paypal, you can downgrade to the personal account by contacting paypal. But when you need to receive payment from any kind of sales, you will need to upgrade to the premier account so as not to break any contractual agreement with paypal or risk getting your account limited.

Yeah, I thought I read before that they do allow you to have 2 different accounts. Nothing wrong with that though.

You will definitely need to be sure you do not break this term of the contract

    https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=xpt/UserAgreement/ua/USUA-outside#receive-policy

Although there is nothing wrong with having a personal and a premier or business account, they must be used separately and you cannot ask people to pay to the personal if it comes from a paypal balance and to your business account if the money comes from a credit card. This is prohibited.

Basically, having two accounts allows you to separate your personal purchases away from your business activities.
