Never share your paypal account with any relatives or friends. Try to use only a single PC to access your paypal account. Hacker can abuse your paypal account the way he want.

If you report to paypal about any hacking incident they will investigate the matter but their investigation process is very slow and consumes a lot of time. If you are lucky you will get your money back.

The hacker can hack only $100. My personal suggestion never add bank account in your paypal account. Use VCC to add funds to your paypal account. I am not saying about VCC's which are used for paypal verification. There are some banks in India and other countries allows their customers to generate VCC using their main credit card. These cards are mainly used for safe online purchase. Banks in USA may offer this kind of service but I am not aware of it.

Well since the member has been banned (but has over 2,000 posts) might as well respond here as well. I am guessing he might be back or maybe at least able to read the responses.

Sharing a PayPal account with someone can have detrimental effects - on your account, on you, and your friends / relative. Money is a very sensitive subject and most people value it. Usually the only time when an account that has to do with money is shared is with spouses / partners - someone that you rely on and trust.

I am not saying you cannot trust you family / friends, but there's a saying about selling products to friends / family and going into business with friends / family. It can put a big strain on your relationship. And a lot of times, the relationship ends bad.

An example of this - look at the daytime TV shows - Judge Judy, Judge Alex, Judge Christina, Judge Hatchett, Judge Joe Brown, Judge Marilyn Milian, Judge Penny, Judge Penny, Judge Jeanine Pirro and Judge David Young all come to mind. And usually a few of them will have some friend, girlfriend, boyfriend, family member suing over money issues.

Yeah, you can get your money back if you report dispute to PayPal. As for VCC, it can be used to verify your PayPal account. Contact me if you need one.
