Paypal account merchant id

    I have a question about paypal account merchant id
    what is this id related for , how was it generated?
    like how to change it ?
    i already tried to change email address and didn't work ..

    Once an email address is changed, you need to confirm your new email address by sign in to your email account.

    i tried so,
    Added a new email to the account and made it as a primary email
    then signed out and in again with this new email address
    but nothing changed
    please help !

    email changing won't change the merchant id. Each account has a unique merchant account id which assigned for that account only. You have to create a new PayPal account to get new merchant account id.
