I cannot believe PayPal is taking it that far!
Anyway, what if someone files a dispute, as there were cases of this before. How would we know which link to remove, if different email was used to pay?
Or have any reference to what the payment was for?
Should we use a submitted email instead of URL, as a field that goes to paypal? If we completely remove this field, people could abuse that?

Do you have the banner saying that you accept paypal?

You could have gamming listings on the directory that are listed for free, that you entered yourself :p or have been paid using other services like MB.

LOL :D Ask - too intelligent.

But they wrote in their rules - that paypal is not for gambling related stuffs..
This is only a link - nothing related to gambling/casino...

There are lot of paypal accepting casino/gambling sites - look here http://www.internet-poker.co.uk/US-.../PayPal-Accepted-Deposits-Casino-Poker-Sites/

Why dont you write to paypal about them ?

They don’t say nothing, they just block your account, they have the power and your money on their side.

Paypal are complete idiots! I have had many arguments with them on the phone over the last year... None over link sales but the fact remains they shouldnt be allowed to dictate what I can and cannot sell.

it's U.S. government related and regulated laws that tell *them* what they can and cannot do. They are abiding by the guidelines to which they have been given.

Where are their servers based? That is key.

also neteller is not u.s. based either from what i recall. (this was about 3-4years ago), but they do accept paypal payments.

I do recall it being the actual servers. Thats where all transactions take place.

It's kind of like down here in florida where we have gambling boats that have to travel out xx amount of miles at sea and beyond the 'boudary' in order to commence the gambling. There are definitely some off the wall whacky exceptions.

    yer im ok

ALSO just too let everyone know its NOT illegal to accept any gambling related advertising payments by paypal or any other processor (only accepting payments for actual bets are illegal in the US).

Paypal just decided to just not do any transactions thats gambling related.

However - recently (12-18 months) they have decided to re-enter the gambling market that does not accept US residents - as you can see at my site
