Some people are getting the paypal account locked and closed because of selling gambling listings I stumble on this directory selling casino links

    http://www.webworldindex.com/phtml/Recreation_and_Sports/Gambling/

and it clearly shows the paypal logo :p and probably there are a loot more directories, so why some get limited and others not.

I noted they have a disclaimer posted and they also supply 2CO too,
I am not qualified to comment on legal aspects related to other sites, or indeed offer opinions
I am sure they have there own legal team that deals with all their business

If somebody who is known to be a gambling site, and he pays somebody/buys a directory listing, the receiver gets locked, IMO.

Why they don’t block the gambler site owner before he makes payments?

or just close their accounts, not ours. What if the gambling site owner buys something from buy.com using paypal, will their close their merchant account ?

Having gambling sites listed in your directory isn't the problem. PayPal could care less what you have listed on your site. They only care about you accepting payments through PayPal for listing gambling sites.

Since Bush just signed the bill, I would avoid doing any gambling related transactions thru payment systems in the US.

Might i suggest a potential new guideline to add to directories? Something along the lines of:

We reserve the right to remove any listing at any given time, whether paid or unpaid, to properly meet all requirements in retaining a trouble free, no hassle submissions process for both the directory and the third party payment resource(s).

I do find quite many gambling listings in lots dirs are featured which means the site owner got paid. Do they have to delete all those listings since Bush signed the bill?

No, it wasn't illegal to accept those payments when they were accepted.
