Paypal Account Limited

Hello, my Paypal account has been limited due to a recent transaction. Now, regarding the transaction I am expected to Provide proof of delivery of which I have done.

I then need to 'Provide invoices' of which I don't know how to do as I wasn't selling anything, I bought online digital goods with my money. Myself and the seller can approve of the transaction, I received what I paid for and he received the money until all of a sudden the payment was held.

Then, it asks for 'Photo ID' now here is the problem. I created this Paypal account in my name whilst I was with my mum presuming this was fine. My mum was going to use this for eBay and me for buying things on eBay, we were going to share the account. However, where it asks for 'Photo Id' it asks for the person who created the account and has their details in to give their photo Id so that would mean me. I am 17 for three and a half more months, I just assumed because me and my mum were sharing account because I help her do everything eBay and Paypal wise and the fact I'm so close to being 18 it would be fine however I'm now unsure of what to do. Do I get my passport, take a picture and send a file in even though I'm just under 18 but have my details in for the accounts or do I get my mums because she's obviously over 18 but doesn't have her details in the account?

I've had no response in two weeks days from the email sent and was wondering what should I do? thanks

Update: The transaction was closed and the money was returned to me but I'm still expected to give photo ID and provide invoices to get my account restored..

for photo ID proof, get your passport or driving license ... scan it and submit it. obviously you have to submit your photo ID as PayPal account has your details.

But will I? because my details I put on my paypal account state that I am 18 and I was born on a different date to my real one. Also, I am 17, 3months from being 18.

Just if I send my real information in now, wouldn't they ban me for being underage and mean I can't get my cash for 6months?

I suggest you contact paypal on the "contact Us"

and explain if you want paypal, contact you by phone.

    and explain your problem.

but if your age is under 18 years old, if it's not against the rules

I've emailed paypal and put a message on their forum and got no response leaving the only option to ring them. I don't want to ring them as it'll cost a lot on the phone bill

Are you sure? Do you think if I explain the situation I could have my account restored? Just I don't want to ring for them to keep my account limited when I could wait 3months and prove I'm 18 and get it back?
