My PayPal account was limited, so I understand there is no way of withdrawing the funds without verification of the required documents. All my funds on my PayPal are sent to me from a friend because of money he owed, so would that friend be able to withdraw his money sent to me although my PayPal is limited? Also, are you able to receive money if you do not have a credit card added on the paypal account?
Your friend can always initiate a charge back to get the money back... even from your limited paypal account... and yes, one can easily receive the money, even if you do not have a credit card attached! Regards, RightMan
Although your account is limited it has not been suspended (yet.) Try to refund your friends money. If you are unable to do that then tell your friend he has to contact paypal and have then initiate a refund. Unfortunately that process can take 30 days to complete.
you can also recieve by adding a bank account, or signup for a prepaid debit card online and link your paypal to that. Cheapest debit card is an Upsidecard for $2 a month, but you do not have to put anything in the card to activate it and link to your paypal.
Getting verified can help, just add a credit card or bank account. I had the same type of situation and that solved the problem. Its safe to use your bank account, but if you are really not comfortable with it just delete the bank account when you are done with what you need to do.
