I have $1000+ in my paypal account and I am under 18. They have limited my account as I cannot prove my identity. I do not want to upload my passport as they will see that I am under 18. What can I do? If i tell them I lied about my d.o.b will they keep my money?
Anyone know the story if they find out you are under 18? Do they hold it forever or hold it till your 18 or do they let u withdraw it and close your account?
best way according to me is to call them up and explain them the matter clearly. Hope they help you out.
Well first of all you ahve done an illegal act, secondly there is no betetr solution for , if anyone mentions that he can solve then i must say that he will use fake documentation, so what ever you do, i will advise that never give access to any one esle. because there are a lot of people who are been scamed. So better is to use legal and talk to paypal call center.And explain everything for the issue, they will really find a solution for it. Never trust anyone, regarding payment issues.Thanks Arif
Well i have inserted my dads date of birth when i signed up. And inserted my debit card as the payment method. If i change the actual account holders name to my dads name, would this be ok? I can upload my dads passport as i.d they require. I am aware family members cards can be placed on file so I think this may be ok. I am from u.k
If your dad & you have the same last name then I think it's okay to change the account name to your dad's.
Would have been wise to use his details in the first place. Although changing it to his name should be fine. I've done it before to.
Don't worry, just scan your dad's passport and say the account was suppose to be under your dad's name and you accidentally typed your name in. They will be understanding enough. Call them man, thats the only way you will get help.
