I recently made a PayPal account, after using Payza for a longtime, and I decided to upgrade to a business, so I could add my friends card to it, but now is wanting information, or something... It's a donation account, cause I am a self employed musician... I wanted a business account for that reason, and to have a high payment cap, more than the $500 on personal, but if I have to do a run around with PayPal about this, then I would like to just go back to a normal account, cause it's just for donations, not selling... Below is what it told me... I have this account linked with Ebay, but I never sold anything on Ebay, so idk why it's saying this... Simply make a call to Paypal office and ask them about the reason. They would give you all the details. And also, they will help you out to resolve your limitation.
As the above poster said, just call. What I have found with dealing with PayPal support, was when I had a basic account, their customer support was subpar. However, once I upgraded to business, and have a subscription to paypal advanced, their customer service was much better and got my problem resolved in like 10 minutes.
