    That depends upon what you were selling or how you were receiving money. If you were breaking there TOS, then they would not give you funds. But, if you were not breaking there TOS then they would likely give you your funds now and then after they will re-review your account and open it again.

    Im currently in a similar position,i have over 5k stuck in account,but im only put in a limit that i cannot send or request money.
    The only way to lift it is add a credit card (which i did),and im also required to do a credit check to my address and insert my SSN!!
    Is that safe?

    Well I am going to try sending this letter if my account isn't restored. My account was limited because I added money to it with a Greendot Moneypack and then let my son take the money out. We each have a debit card on this account, but he lives in another state and needed money for groceries. This I thought would be a great way for me to help him. Nothing sinister. Nothing illegal. When I called and asked Paypal why they did this, they said that was propriatary information and they aren't able to tell me. Well, I paid cash for the money pack at Walmart along with a fee of $4.65, so what's the problem?? That Paypal couldn't use my funds for themselves for awhile??? I am FURIOUS!!!
