    I'm not sure why being a housewife makes a difference. What part of opening an account are you having problems with?

    It's been so many years since I set my account up but I know both my husband and I have separate PayPal accounts yet we have a joint bank account. Life in Algeria is pretty different to New Zealand but some things you just can't avoid, like banks. Your household must have a bank account you can link to.

    BTW it would have been helpful to have specified that the lack of a bank account was causing problems when you opened the thread.

    If your problem is not having a bank account then nobody can help you without committing fraud and risking never having an account themselves, or losing the account they have. What is stopping you from going to a bank and opening an account?

    If you have some other problem then let us know.

    Even if you were able to set up a Paypal account, what are you going to do when you get paid?

    Money isn't going to come shooting out of the screen, you need to transfer it somewhere.

    Also, if there is an issue with the transaction - there needs to be a recourse for the buyer, hence connecting your bank account.

    I have a PayPal debit card, which is pretty nice. I am not sure if that's available in all countries.

    Just be warned, you can only pull out $400/day from the ATM machine - I learned that the hard way.
