Hi i just wanted to tell ya guys that today i recieved a mail from someone telling to adopt security measure. : Now the strange this is when i checked the options i mean i just wanted to confirm from where this mail is sent from and i saw : Thanks GOD i m safe didnt clicked on the link
er, did you even have to ask that??!?!!! psst, look at da URL!!!! Is it PayPal.com!!! No!!! Now, if you will PM me your credit card number...
lol, that's a dumass kiddy trying to phish you. Can you forward the email to me?? d/c dot e/t/e/r/n/i/t/y at y/a/h/o/o/ dot c/o/m without symbols.
Yeah, lol. And most importantly PayPal addressed you by your name in their email all the time. So ignoring it would be best, unless you want payback that is...
Send it to and they will take care of that Paypal never addressed you with 'Dear PayPal Member' They use your name instead of this
Mostly you get such mails only on Yahoo mail , i suggest you use Gmail , never received a single paypal scam email there
Hello! I have been receiving this kind of phishing mails regularly claiming that they are sent from paypal and ebay. The latest Internet Explorer has phishing filters and to some extent alerts you whenever you get this kind of mails. The lesson : Be alert always! The shark is on the prowl
I've clicked on a link one of these fake mails and tried to login. It asked me my credit card number suddenly. I realized that is a fake website and logged in real paypal site and changed my password quickly. Be aware!
beaware of this kind of emails. scammers are everywhere and they try to do everything to cheat your money. they will be punished one day.
Isn't it too obvious ! i mean how do they try to scam with such a mail. I can't believe that people actually fall for that.
Always check for your registered name in any email claiming to be from PayPal or ebay. Don't add any information to link provided in the email instead go directly to to PayPal & log in to your a/c to resolve any issue.
Yeah, I received the same email that claim it was from ebay told me to confirm my link. Totally 100% scam!
I have also received a few emails in the past telling me paypal needs to "update my account" I clicked on the links before and some of the pages that pop up looks JUST LIKE the paypal site...back then I didn't even know if its was real or not...so I usually disregard the emails even if they are real as some maybe scams...I might wrong about this but, just make sure it saids https<---the "s" for secure in the link and it has a lock icon on the browser and that should insure its the real deal
