well i think you might have purchased/or changed password by some fishing e-mail or e-Bay e-mail or some kind of prank.never change your password if you receive an e-mail saying for security reasons update your password or anything.in this case you can go to paypal website login into your account and update the password .and not using the link you receive by e-mail.

I guess the best way is:

If you have a PC which no stranger touches..

Install windows fresh.. login using mozilla firefox and save paypal login password. So that you need not enter the password each time and reduce possibility of being keylogged.

I am so sorry to know about it. Let us know about the progress. I am glad to know that you could gather all info about the scamer. Its really nice and smart of you.

Just get hold of him, get your money and account back and then you can do all that you want to do with him.

Are you kidding me? You cannot possibly be that crazy over this. Look, paypal will replace your funds. It is just a matter of time. I mean come on, "personal action"? What if you are wrong? What if the hacker was using the IP of another? What if it was the neighbors kid using their computer?

    Use your brain.

you better use good anti virus coz theres a new anti virus named horse trojan, it will get all of your personal info and then hacked your account. always scan your pc also. before in logging in your account.

Nice suggestion, I guess but the last reply was in July. I'm hoping that they've learned a little more since then.
