    Hi,
My paypal account go limited and they are saying for address verification.

can This matter be resolved ??
Paypal is a great fraud. I recieve a lot of money in this month but they did not say anything but when i try to send money my account was limmited.

I would like to know that how many of you got your account cleared from limitation ?

and what are they reasons they told you for limitation ??

And which is the most popular after Paypal ??

More than likely you broke the user agreement with paypal. It happened to me, they won't unlock your account and you have to wait 180 days to get your funds transfered to your bank.

You should call up paypal to see if you broke the eula.

Send them a address verification proof then whats the problem? How to they turn fraud when whatever they are doing is for security reasons?

Call up paypal ask them what they want.

I think they just want a utility bill to prove that you live where you say you do. You will probably also have to scan your drivers license and whatever else they tell you to do.

Also, if you pull a large amount of money out of your account quickly, it probably looked like money laundering. It's just a security issue. Call them up though. I've heard that their email response is terrible.

Why not just provide the address and verify it?

I don't understand why they ask for SSN#, and a photocopy of it. I understand providing the utility bill to verify where you live. But even then, once you have a verified account with the bank account verfied, AND a credit card, I dont see why they need all that information.

They probably asked for your SSN# just to be sure that you are a US-resident. This will help weed out those people who are not from the US and signing up as being from there to foil their system. If you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to worry about.

right... I have nothing to hide. I still think that providing the credit card with a verified bank account should be sufficient. there should be no reason why they would need a photocopy of your SSN. If someone really wanted they could photoshop the ssn print it out and fax it over.

Well, the trouble is that if you look at other posts around here, there are people who are from some prohibited countries who signed up for a US Paypal account and get an etrade bank account with a VCC to pretend to be from the US. Getting the SSN would indeed stop them at their tracks.

If the SSN is photoshopped, they can probably have more rights to deny you because I doubt they are that stupid. Besides this will give them more evidences against you.
