Paypal accepting payments in restricted countries

    An in Kenya and paypal does not allow us to receive payment. If I open an account but use a different country say USA or China will I be able to receive payments and withdraw to my local bank.

    Hi, you cannot because paypal will trace your i.p address and your paypal country. they will surely limit your account

    I wonder how you expect Paypal to restrict your country and still offer withdrawal to your local bank? :confused:
    Isn't it obvious that the restriction simply means that it would not entertain any requests for such a country... whatsoever!

    Your best option is to ask a relative who lives in a supported country to open an account in his name and then remit the money to you.

    2Checkout is also an option for you if you're willing to pay the $49 set up fee and a transaction fee of 5.5% commission on each transaction, plus a $0.45 flat charge. 2CO allows you to receive PayPal payments.

    If u really want to do that ...

    Get a Windows Based VPS of that country and use it with ease

    Be Smart .. and BTW please use a proxy ( easily traceable by the Big Guns )

    No one can trace you :D

    Hi liverpool fan ,
    Since you brought up the 2CO stuffs
    Have you been using it ? I am curious to know as I am planning
    I would like to know that is 2CO similar to paypal meaning, just the customer has to just enter paypal id and amount and no other additional info such as name , add etc , does it work that way ?

    I am using a Paypal account registered as India, but I live in Sri Lanka. my country doesn't support PP. only sending payments. with Indian PP account I can receive payments. but I have to exchange to another e currency like MB, AP. before withdraw.

    p.s. once I asked an question from paypal to get support. and I let them know I am a sri lankan and I have registered as Indian. they helped me. nothing happened to my account. I am still using it.

    Paypal account can be VERIFIED with card issued in restricted country.It's possible.If are interested message me.
