PayPal $25 Creative Logo Contest

    This is a logo design contest for a brand new company. The company doesn't even have a Web site yet so you are absolutely free to be creative.

    Company name: Loopy Ventures
    What they do: They create loops of people and/or businesses

    I have no opinion on the colors. However, the logo needs to express that the company is solid and trustworthy yet dynamic and pro-active and that it will help its clients make or save money.

    Maximum number of colors: 3

    General look and feel:
    - Please, NO cartoony look or feel. I know the name can be tempting but it is absolutely NOT the idea.
    - I am looking for a metropolitan, futuristic, and/or cutting edge technology look and feel.
    - Please, incorporate loop or loops somehow.

    What we want to communicate through the logo:
    * Unique/Creative
    * Innovative/Game changer
    * Trustworthy
    * Serious
    * Cutting Edge

    Contest Deadline:
    Creativity is of the essence here, and it doesn't always come when required so I'm giving you a little bit of time.
    Deadline is: Friday May 20th at 6pm EST.

    Required deliverables for winning logo:
    Vector graphic logo in .ai or .eps
    Layered .psd
    black/white version

    Payment is to be made via Paypal only.
    Payment is submitted after the files are in my possession.

    Any questions/doubts/concerns, just post here or PM me.

    Thank you and good luck!

    That's a wonderful start, folks. Thanks a lot.

    Love the loops in both designs. Keep shooting, I am asking my partner to have a look too so we can give you the best feedback :)

    umxca, love your loops idea. Can you keep digging in that direction? Maybe adding more intertwined loops? For colors, I think you got the serious and money part clear. I'd like to see a bit more life/dynamism.

    T.j. Detwiler, love your loop. Any chance you can keep digging in that direction? Like your colors too.

    For those of you who sent me PMs, sorry guys but no PM entry will win because that's not fair to the others. Also, make sure you can fulfill requirements. There is a reason why they are there...

    jardo: I like your play on colors. Not sure I am convinced by the designs though.
    umxca: Love the one on post 8. Maybe use a different color for some of the small circles?
    Falloutvic: The infinity symbol is a good idea. Maybe it should be closed though so that it's really infinite. I'm not convinced by the font of the blue one. Also I'd like to see more than one color, if possible.
    nidhi: Interesting concepts. I like concept2 the best.
    Those are great entries, folks, all of them. Thank you very much.

    Looking good. I posted some doodles, ideas of the direction I would like to see the letters and logo go in. I hope it's enough to stimulate the creativity. I would like to see what it would look like if the letters, the o's and the letter p in the word loopy linked together in various ways with a modern font. I would love to see variations of the logo of these doodles. You can take them literal or get funky with them, love to see both.

    I agree with all of Christine's latest comments for each of you with one addition.

    Umxca- I like the ring with all the rings, can the little rings be opened up some more or tilt them, so more of their circle is showing? I like the way they are looped on the larger loop but it's looking to science like. Love to see more colors too.

    Thank you and good luck.

    Great job, folks.
    Right now, with 2 1/4 hours to go, the two favorites are umxca's post #8 and jardo's #13.
