Hello! I want some clients who don't have credit Card. I know that payoneer has a prepaid Mastercard but user can only apply through their partners. I tried with 2checkout, they only give the card to vendors or affiliates not buyers. On plimus I couln't find anything about payoneer. Nor in Elance. What do you suggest for people to have a prepaid card but to make payments (not to receive payments) For example, Let's say Joe, 20 years old, living with his parents, unemployed. he can't apply to a regular credit Card. The best option is a prepaid credit card. Let's say Joe 1 Lives in UK, Joe 2 lives in Spain and Joe 3 Lives in USA. What do you suggest for them to make online payments?
Joe Should ask his/her parents to buy him/her things online ~ So simple lol ! I am using Payoneer through Plimus .. You can see it after making an account with plimus , after receiving a card you can use it to buy things online and if you are US citizen then you can add load payments to the card using ACH Back account option !
I don't believe that Plimus wants people to make use of them just to get a Payoneer card and thus does not promote it. I am sure they want you to be a working vendor who would bring them income and they will offer you the option of the payoneer card so that they can pay you. The Payoneer Card is not a credit card but a Debit Mastercard which means there is no credit being extended and you be spending your own money. If you are not earning money, it might be difficult to fund the card. Currently for an overseas customer, the only way to fund the card would be through loading from another VISA or Mastercard cards which may defeat the purpose because you are saying these customers do not have credit cards in the first place. I am not sure about Spain but most banks around the world would offer VISA or Mastercard Debit Cards to their customers, sometimes in place of an ATM card so they can make payments online and offline and at the same time withdraw from the ATM Machine. They could approach their bank about this option if they are not already provided with one.
Here you can get the Payoneer MC: https://programs.payoneer.com/programs/oranimgeneral/ Hope this helps I got 1 from there because I am from Germany and couldn´t apply directly through Payoneer, I also got a second one from Getafreelancer.com (this one didn´t exist when I applied for the other one)
And how are they going to fund the Payoneer card to pay you?? Most banks offer secured credit card. Ask them to contact their local banks for more information.
Also when Payoneer sends you the card, they will bare the cost of the making of the card and the postage. They will only deduct the fees the first time you load the card. If you do not load the card with a credit card, it would be considered a lost to Payoneer. From what I understand, if the card is left dormant for a consecutive period of 2 months, the debit card would be deactivated and you will need to get a new card. With an affiliate, at least you be expecting incoming funds which would be used to pay for the payoneer services.
O.k What are the alternatives for online payments to those people without a credit Card? I know people in Spain who simply hate credit cards but they have a lot of money in their bank accounts. I know that's nonsense, But I want to give alternatives to people without CC. For example, in Portugal there is a system called MBNET where you, through yout debit card, go to a ATM machine, apply for the MBNET and then go to the site with the password the ATM created for you and the system creates a temporary credit card. It lasts about 3 month and limit of the card is the one you set at the ATM machine. That's an excellent alternative for peopl without credit card. I want to know if there is something similar in other countries. Thanks!
From what I understand, most banks around the world have worked with Mastercard and VISA to offer their customers Debit Cards which would work like Credit Card without the credit risk. In some countries, banks do offer Gift Cards or Money transfer cards which are effectively prepaid debit cards which should work to. Seriously, if you are someone who shops online or internationally, you really cannot go without a credit card. That is still the number 1 method of payment online.
I totally agree with you Addy. I am now 29 years old and I have credit card since I just turned 18. Sadly, one of my niches are mainly teenagers without credit card. I want to find an alternative. I thought about micropayments but that only works for very small quantities.
I have a Payoneer card from www.Mediashakers.com, you could apply with mediashakers. But it took 1 month to get approved and another net 45 to finnaly have the card sent. They only send if you can make certain amount each month. I think least $20 a month for deposit onto the card. Then after you can use your bank account to deposit money onto it. edit: oh sorry I thought you were wanting to know how to get one. Well it still usefull info if anyone wants one. mediashakers is an payoneer affilate and you can get a card threw them. They offer cpm ads like adbrite
Like I say, have them pop into their bank and get a debit card. I know here in Singapore which is very strict as far as the release of credit cards, banks are offering Debit Cards as an option in place of ATM Cards to anyone who has a bank account and I think you can be as young as 16 years old to get one. If you are younger, there is the option of the preloaded debit card.
payoneer is available for plimus and elance.. send mail to their support they will inform you how to make payoneer from elance and plimus.
A Debit Card works almost like a credit card except that the bank does not extend credits to you. All you need is a payment processor like 2checkout, Google Checkout, Paypal or Plimus or the many 3rd party payment processors online which can accept money into your behalf and send you the funds either to your bank account, check, paypal or payoneer, depending on the processor you select. Payoneer also allows people with either a Credit or Debit Card from VISA and Mastercard to load your Payoneer card through the Payoneer website.
The question is: thos 3rd party payment processors accept international debit Cards? I've tried to pay with my Visa Electron (debit card) and it si ALWAYS rejected....Of course, I have money in my account.
Don't use Visa Electron, they are pretty much a class of their own. The Payoneer card is a Mastercard and I have been using it to pay online for almost one year now to sites which are priced in US$ with no problem at all. Mastercard actually does the job better because there is no distinction between the Debit and Credit Card. For VISA, they have 3 types of cards, VISA Credit, VISA Debit and VISA Electron. The first two are accepted worldwide and treated as if they are one and the same but the VISA Electron seems like a failed project because only stores which has the VISA Electron logo can accept it. If you are from India then most debit cards cannot be used internationally.
You gave me a payoneer card and you never paid me threw it. The card just sat in my wallat and expired.
Hi, I applied for a paynoeer card from odesk and they sent it withing 25 days. Then I connect rentacoder.com to my payneer card to get payment. Though I didnt get payment from odesk, i got from rentacoder.com which is now vworker.com. But when my one client try to load my card, 2 days later payment rejected without any deduction. Payoneer show me a cause that, odesk should be pay me first. Now I am seeking a solution to get payment directly to my card from my clients though a partner of payoneer. Anyone have idea about it? In Bangladesh we cant get web based paid. Any alternate you know which is work for me or us like paypal to get paid in payneer.
