Payments Issue: Chargeback

I received a payment few days ago and now it seems that the guy has charge back on me. I understand that if i refund the payment the case would be close.

The thing is that i cant find the refund option anywhere. CAn someone guide me through the process?

Assuming you are using paypal you might have received email from paypal for chargeback, you just follow the link.

 

Was it for a service or a tangible good ?

 

Are we talking paypal, another 3rd party processor or a merchant account?

Paypal and other systems have different ways of processing chargebacks so we would need to know what system you are using to give more specific advice.

 

i can't remember exactly but here is what i can think of.
when u log to your paypal account, you will find on the bottom right something like: To-do list.
Their u can see the dispute, click on it and then click resolve. You will see 3 options i think the first is Refund.
Again im saying, this is not accurate, but look around and u'll see what im talking about.

I was talking about paypal. And I cannot refund the amount cause this guy's account got limited access and so the refund option is missing. Tha payment for service and so I replied with the appropiate notes to the inquiry by paypal and waiting for response.
