Is it possible to edit the Payment type field. I know that when receiving a payment we can type in that field and it saves for that customer however it does not make it available again in the drop down box.
You can define payment types by navigating to 'Maintenance & Preferences -> General Preferences -> Billing'. Once in this screen click the 'Payment Types' button at the top right.
