I am currently co-authoring a digital product with a partner. We will wish to have all the sales centralized at a site, but how can it be set up to deliver 50% of each purchase to each of our paypal accounts while ensuring fairness and accountability between us?
What is the simplest way to arrange this?

Isnt it easier first to accept at paypal account that you both have the password and then do a 50/50?

Get a merchant account. Have funds deposited automatically to a business account in both of your names.

i think getting payment at one account and dividing it later will be a much better option indeed.

I think that they want to get all founds divided and paypal or other bank should know that they are owners of each 50% . In other case - 1 owner will be doing 'simple' payment to other.
