Mine 30$ has been deducted as paypal fees.
The paypal should given notice that no one should make any transfer of now,but it didn't do,so that was paypal's fault:mad:

Why not demand that the other party covers the fees? After all if it wasn't your fault they should be the ones to absorb any charges relating to the refund. In face they are made aware of any charges you face before they confirm the reversal.

    Hi everyone,

Actually paypal has not charged any reversal fees with anyone! Its not reversal fees, its simply a reversed transaction. They have offered you 0.0206810$ for a rupee which is their conversion rate like they offer 45.13 INR for a dollar today. Paypal just play safe to have a maximum advantage in these conversion factors. Only very few people living in the United States may be in need for money being withdrawn from a bank account in India and need it terms of dollars and even in that case, the Indian would be pushed to put in a lot of money for a few dollars because of this conversion rate. So both ways paypal is taking advantage with indians.

So just remember, this is not reversal fees and the money deducted is related to the conversion offered by paypal and they are not going to give it back!

Ok..But..We ( All buddies who Lost money like this ) have not Cancelled or not entered Any wrong Bank information which leads Reversal or any other Fee But the Cancellation & reversal both was made by Paypal itself so we are not wrong here so why we bearing that much Conversion Fee ?
I know that Currency conversion Matters here so it's not totaly anybodies fault but seems there is so much high deduction in the name of Currency conversion.

We are talking about currency conversion here..

But, that come in play only if Paypal would have transferred the funds.
They had just kept them on hold. The money was not released from Paypal fr the banks.

So, USD wasn't converted to INR in practice. That just happened electronically (on the receipts shown to us on Paypal accounts). Similarly, INR -> USD conversion wasn't done. Paypal just adjusted the "Balance" both the times, and generated receipts both the times.

So, the deduction is totally baseless, isn't it?

Recent Update is that Paypal will NOT be taking any currency conversion charges.

Paypal is giving a new problem now.

As those guys have reversed all the Bank Transactions which had been withdrawn to Indian Bank Accounts.

They also cut the fees as if money is recieved in my account.

Say If I had withdrawn 100$ I would be getting only 100$-(0.30$+3.40$)=96.30$

Paypal would think that it is a transaction of Receipt so it would charge fees.
But it wasn't any transaction at all. It was the Fault of Paypal.

Paypal should credit everyones account with these fees.

I had withdrawn 115$ now I only have 106$ after the reversal.

But Paypal says it is because of Conversion rates.
