You can't identify the scammers transaction. You have only option to cancel the hosting account of that person

Configure your payment system for PAYPAL VERIFIED MEMBERS ONLY.
If you keep it for all, then many scammers with unverified paypal account will try to scam you and atast you will find yourself on the roads.
    So better,take the prevention.

There is nothing much can be done on this, choose your clients carefully and yes Verified members generally do not do scams but you can't even bet on some.

I recently had the same problem...sucks, but there really is nothing you can do as long as you want to stay accessible to as many people as possible.

So many people here swear by egold or GCO or any of the other alternatives, but bottom line is that nobody has the reach that PayPal does. PayPal = More Customers. Though you may get some fraudulent reversals, they're just part of the game and must be counted as a cost of running business.

Stupid but works. Accept paypal payments as GOOD, and not service...
How you do it is up to you.

    1. Most customers don't even know for Egold.

    2. Egold is in legal problems now and it's not the best choice.
