Hi, I want to start selling weight loss products, are there any payment processors like 2checkout or plimus that accept these kind of products?

if I am not mistaken, payment processor does not care what you sell, but when you decide what payment processor to choose for your website, think about such things as where your potential customers located and what payment methods they would prefer, whether you want to accept credit cards etc

Actually payment processors do care what merchants are selling. Some payment processors will not take merchants that are in certain industries because of the risk involved.

You should check out GRAYPAY. They take on nutraceuticals items such as weight loss supplements.

Here is their website and Number www.graypay.com 818-387-6735

You are right not all payment processors will accept this kind of business. Where are you located?

I recommend you Click2Sell.eu and eJunkie, and if you want to get serious try to put your product on the Clickbanck Marketplace. If your product is unique I recommend you to give it a shot on the Kindle Marketplace.

Are you selling "products" that you will physically deliver? or intangibles like e-books?

    It makes a big difference.

Thanks for all your help, I will check out all your suggestions. I am selling physical products that I will ship to my customers that's the problem, it's difficult to find a payment processor or a way to accept CC payments for products that are considered high risk, such as weight loss supplements and stuff.

I went to my bank yesterday and it was so easy to set up a merchant account. With any luck, I can start accepting credit cards online in a week. Sure beats paying all those 3rd party fees :)
