I am just curious as to what other payment options others use besides paypal? I am wanting to sell some designs and wanted to know if anyone uses the Amazon method or the Gmail payment methods?

The most popular payment method after Paypal is Skrill !

Apart from Skrill, you can use Dwolla (US only), Payza, Xoom, Stripe.

Looks like asiapay is restricted to Hong Kong based businesses.. a lot of information on the website (perhaps too much), but not a lot of direct information that is clear and concise.

PayPal is the best option so far but you can try BluePay, they have good rates and decent support.

I have not used Amazon or Gmail but I do use Stripe. I am in the web industry but I believe this will be the same. Buyers love Paypal because they believe they are protected. So you will have more sales. We have had people say they only want to pay through paypal.

Amazon Payments, Skrill, SquareUp....or get your own merchant account from your bank of choice or other online service providers.
(Merchant accounts are typically free, but charge a small percentage per transaction. Square works the same way. Amazon Payments will also take a percentage, but they offer you fraud protection and other benefits in exchange. Some merchant accounts will also offer a monthly rate instead of a percentage if you process a large number of transactions monthly.)

There is no need to use PalPal when you can get much better service sand rates with other companies. We can work with any off shore tech company, SEO company, ecigs, etc.....any high risk business regardless of country (including India)! If you need a new merchant ID, multiple merchant ID, Corps, Signatories, etc we have everything needed to set up merchants world wide. If you need a 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc. processing account as backup we will do this as well. We want business!

I used Amazon payments for a while. the check out looks the same way as on their web Amazon.com. Plus is that it is a well-kown brand and most people already know it. However they have quite high transaction fees, especially on small purchases. If you are looking for fair prices, you should check out Payza, Paysera or Webmoney payment gateways.

Check out bitcoin if you're interested in accepting crypto based payments. Services like bitpay allows you to directly exchange bitcoin to the USD or fiat currency equivalent instantly to cash out.
