Payment options in PHPLd v3.2.0 Help required

    I have organized a phpld v3.2.0 directory and it shows a picture of all major credit card in the payment thing but when i try to make a test payment i only get Paypal option.. why is that and how can i open the other options?

    It means payment can be accepted by credit card through paypal.

    You would need to have a merchant account i believe to have a true setup for accepting credit cards how you might of imagined.

    There are mods for Phpld to add moneybookers, e-gold, alertpay etc for extra options.

    Because phpLD only supports paypal by default. To accept credit cards through your own site would require substantial extra, expensive software.

    i know about the moneybooker thing but it think paypal is simpler than that.. i just wanted to give customers an easy way to pay directly from their credit cards..

    Well then you already have the right option by using the paypal gateway, this will allow the user to select to use paypal / or credit card as their preferred payment method ( as mentioned you may need a merchant account for this ).

    To implement your own payment gateway will cost a few pennies as mentioned by mikey1090

    If you try direct credit card option, people wont trust you much. By PayPal they will rely more than your way.

    well said, i will never use credit card on small sites/company.
    Paypal is always the first and best choice. :)

    I thought people wouldn't use paypal for as less as 2 $ , but i guess i was wrong..
