ClickBank takes a one-time payment to set up as a merchant. According to their site help: "Once you receive the approval email for your first product, you will need to pay your one-time $49.95 activation charge."

It isn't absolutely clear (IMHO) if that's one time per product or one time for your account. I assume it's one time ever, since they also take fees per sale (7.5% + $1). There's a calculator on clickbankguide.com, as well as free ebooks to help you get started - read them. And no, it's not my site and yes, I would have linked but DP has a demented redirect test that doesn't work.

It sounds like a lot but if you're going to use them extensively, it's not so bad. And hey, there's an absolutely massive market on there so you're basically investing then waiting for people to sell for you. One shot profits (assuming your product is worth it).

They pay out by cheque (check) and direct deposit. I don't think you'd need a merchant account at the bank, though you'd have to declare the earnings for tax purposes - as if you were a freelancer or similar, at a guess. You could ask for some free financial advice on that one.

My advice? Read their help pages. Never, ever, EVER just dive in and hope you know what you're doing. It's called due diligence and you absolutely must do it.

Is your product less than $50? Clickbank has a max of $100 I think and you need approval before getting that increased above $50

If not clickbank (which does not require you open merchant account - just signup free with them) then paydotcom.com (you get paid via paypal. Clickbank has one time fee per product you want to sell, paydotcom just one time fee and sell as many products as you want.

Those 2 are most popular and best.
