Payment in Progress?

    Why does it take Google over a week to process payments? It has been showing me the Payment in Progress message since Jan 22 and its the same story every month. Any ideas?

    Since my payment is not in USD I was thinking maybe they monitor the exchange rate for a week and use the rate which would give them the best deal.

    It is very much common. The payment is progress message is displayed for a week. But when you receive a message that says payment issued you would find it is issued at an earlier date. So allow adsense its breathing space. It deals with thousands of publishers.

    I live in the Uk and have been paid in £'s for more than a year now. They use the current exchange rate everytime. They aren't complete bastards lol.

    In help section I think it is written that payments may be made until the 10th of next month. That is, payments for december 2008 may be issued untill 10th of February.
