Hi I have launched an online digital store where I will sell PCs, Laptops, Printers and IT Peripherals in India only. I want to know which should be the best payment gateway for it considering the products on sale are generally with low profit margins. The payment gateway should accept Indian credit cards, net banking and other options. CCAvenue seems to be a choice there but they have quite a bit setup fees plus 5-7% transaction costs. I heard some bad things about their customer service too. Is there any other choice?
Futurebazaar site uses CCAvenue and I've had problems paying through it. It's not straightforward and can be confusing to new users. Try 2CO or Plimus. They have better customer service and are more reliable.
I think 2CO and Plimus do not accept Indian credit cards and banks and they do transactions in USD not in INR, am I right? Paypal seems to be a better choice than Ccavenue for accepting CC payments. But I will definitely need a payment gateway for accepting payments via net banking from all Indian banks. What do you think? Is it possible to accept net banking payments from any bank directly without involving a gateway in between?
yes, you can accept net banking payment without any gateway. But the buyer will need a online banking account of any bank.
Being an Indian means limited Payment Gateway Supports. If you are willing to accept US$ as main currency then you should opt for Paypal . As I can see from your post , you will be dealing in INR and any Indian would not be willing to spend on currency conversion charges , it might be possible that you also have to pay for currency conversion charges. There are few payment gateways that support INR as their options like CCAvenue, they accept NetBanking and Indian Credit Cards, you can try EBS a service from Axis Bank .. Choosing others will mean that you will be billing extra to your customers and in turn lower you costs. If you are choosing an Indian Payment Gateway , the Setup costs would be equal to or above Rs35000 and an annual cost would be around Rs3500 .. For accepting NetBanking Money your customer needs to send you NEFT Payment or a Direct Deposit amount to your specified account. He can also deposit cheque into your Bank..
Yes thats point.. Im also trying to do the same.. I have my products in the store as RS and when any user clicks on payPal,then its says incorrect currency..
