I just got an email stating that CB had a failure with direct deposit. I suspect that it is false since I did get paid on Wednesday. Did anyone else get the notification?
poor guys are going to come to work on Monday and have a ton of emails ... coz it's not just an email error, inside CB they have actually changed the payment methods over ...
Yeah... freaked me out for a minute... but a brilliant way to remind us to change/add the bank name which will be a required field after the 15th - don't forget guys!
dammit I just sent an email to CB asking "WTF!!!". (much nicer than that of course). now i hope they don't screw anything up because of my email sent to them. I seem to recall something like this happening a year ago too. I thought this was related to the change I made since they asked me on the 1 Sept to add my bank name to my payment details, and to do it by the 15th. So I did it yesterday and figured it was connected. All I did was to add my bank name which was definitely right. I knew this could not be a problem of my own making.
Same here. Received an e-mail that my direct deposit sent on 15th July (!!!!) was returned. Very strange. I already e-mailed them.
Just searched my email. This also happened on 15th October 08. They then sent an email to say: and So I expect it is the same error or something similar.

It's not just the email, even the payment option in Account Settings also has changed from 'Direct Deposit' to 'Check'. Are you manually changing it back to Direct Deposit, or will CB resolve it next week? Monday is Labor Day, so I don't expect them to come through till Tuesday.
Yeah I got that email as well, I hope its temporary cos I need that money to pay some bills next week! Checks are no good to me coz they dont get cleared straight away and it take 6 weeks!
It failed on for the Direct Deposit dated 15 July for which I already have received payment. Not sure if they are sending again Payment sent on 2 sep received by me on 5 sep.
Yeah, it's a CB problem. But the point is, the payment mode has changed from DD to Check. And since Monday is Labor day in the US, we can expect a resolution only by Tuesday or Wednesday. I'm concerned because I'm expecting a DD on Wednesday.
sh1t, does this mean I have to go through all my CB accounts and change them back to DD? I'll prolly do this tomorrow.
I think you should change the payment option again in all your CB accounts. Otherwise, your payment will be sent as a paper check.
