    Hi guys

I have just had a very difficult conversation with one of paypals customer services ages, who mentioned the word fraud on quite a few occations lol.

My problem is this, i was going to use paypal to take some payments via one of my sites, but when people goto pay, it gives all my name and address out to these people, I dont really want this, i want to keep these details private, this is when the paypal advisor threw in the word fraud lol ! The conversation didnt really go anywhere and she more or less said i couldnt withhold my details

I have no desire to de fraud anyone, i had a very bad experiance once where someone got my personal details and used them very badly. So you can appreciate i dont want to do this again.

So how do i ensure my privacy during these kind of payment is there a simple way around this that i just dont know about, the words merchant account were mentioned, would this be a solution ?

Or maybe a different way of payment ? 2 checkout or google checkout of which i know little about ?

    Any help appreciated

    Woc

Paypal works on a platform which requires all their members to be transparent and as such would require your information to be displayed. Their premise is that if you are not planning to default, you should not fear providing your information.

The only way around it would be to register your own business or incorporate a company and use the company's details instead your personal ones.

I have found an alternative solution now, with 2checkout, who publish ur site name and email address, thus ensuring ur privacy, paypal were less than helpful on this issues, so seems there are alternative solutions out there !
