Hello! I am selling an eBook from my website, with a Payloadz/PayPal interface, using a Payloadz shopping cart/buy now button. When someone buys my book, if they pay from their PayPal account the funds go directly into my PayPal account. However, if the purchase is made with a credit card option, those funds go into a Payloadz account. In addition, my monthly fees to Payloadz automatically are sent from PayPal to Payloadz. The Payloadz website states that, after the initial 2 week wait period, if the account accrues more than $10/week, those funds will be forwarded to me on a weekly basis. This has never happened, although I've always had sales in excess of $10/week. Since payments were being forwarded randomly, on an average of 2x/month, I didn't register any complaint. However, on December 15, although my Payloadz account page showed steady sales, transfer of funds into my PayPal account stopped. I sent 4 e-mails to Payloadz support, and got a barely intelligible reply stating they would send me $26, and the balance in two weeks. I attempted to reach Payloadz by phone. One of the numbers had a full mailbox. The other had a voicemail advising not to leave a message there - send e-mail from site. My question is: Is anyone else having problems getting their revenues from Payloadz? And is there any consumer recourse if an online vendor suddenly freezes/confiscates funds? Any responses would be appreciated. Thanks!
Its because Payloadz allows a limited number of downloads. And if it exceeds it then you need to choose a plan there. Or you should start using E-junkie. - Mr.President -
Hi, Digital S, and thanks for the reply. I do have the "$100 - $300" plan with Payloadz, paying them $15/month for servicing, in addition to their other download fees, and while I've been in excess of the $100, have not yet exceeded the $300. If I were on the Basic plan, I'd expect some sort of payment lag. Did a lot of research yesterday. It appears that having an e-Junkie / Paypal Pro interface will best meet my needs. Really liked the Payloadz format/reporting, but the hold-up of funds just isn't acceptable. Thanks again, Writestuf9
