Today I was looking at my searches stats, as I use often google during my daily work, i use the google search form my site, so at least I got some cents.
The other day I made a little experiment, I searched for the word "cialis" a word that I find very often in my spam-trash, looking at the result I noticed that till page 30 there are paying results from google, so I decided to click some, just to see how much they sell this things to be able to pay so many dollars to google to be on top of result. After that I forgot this experiment, till today when I was looking at my adsense stats, You can see the line below....

I found that this word pay Extremely HIGH and I start thinking on this: If this word pay me so much, maybe It would be a great idea to build a little site around this word, what do you think about that?

    *sigh*

Go ahead and make a Cialis spam site if you feel happy about becoming a spammer besides a scammer. Put it on your CV and you will get many friends.

My goodness, do people think Googlecops dont read forums? So blatent too. It should be obvious even without reading the TOS that this is underhanded to say the least.

That said, I will say - this isn't all that different from what others have said before, which is essentially "I'm building around high-paying keywords."

(I personally don't do this; I rely on sheer bulk. But I'm in it for the hobby aspect.)

That said...if you're doign this for money, it's better to choose expensive than cheap keywords. I've got two sites with similar viewership, one gets about 5 cents a day, the other about $30 a day, the only difference being the subjects. (The $30 one is very small, about 25 pages, the five-cent one about 220 pages! The only real difference is the popularity of the keywords among advertisers.)

Google employees have been known to frequent these forums.

Besides of that, it is not a good idea to make sites because of high paying keywords.

If you concentrate on your subject, regardless of the current value of keywords, you will have a better chance of earning (not getting) good money when these sites with these keywords go into competition.

Wait, wait, I was only "speaking", I have no time to build a site like this, It was only "brainstorming" around a event that happened to me.
Instead of clicking on paying links on my site I prefer to work, as it pay me MORE that a click. If you also add that I "earn" about 1 to 3 Dollars monthly from my site... You can also immagine the my site is online not for earning. It was only curiosity around an interesting argument that made me look more around it. Only this. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

And for the TOS, I think that google should look better to his users as I found lots of site using tricks or similar to earn click, or site that are out of TOS for theyr content but use adsense and G do not say anything.

    Forgot a thing, I love G.

not going to get booted for 1 click.

I think building a site around a keyword you do not know or have any PASSION for is bad... Build a site around what YOU like / love to do!

And if there are any employees of G here...

    I LUV U G ><

come now critters - many of us have sites built around something we know little about. They're called affiliates :D:D
From what I here the pharmacy type stuff does pay pretty well, but I've yet to find a decent affiliate to promote.

    Aenigma,

Adwords is about making money, so if you think building a site around a high paying keyword will earn you some dollars, then do it. No matter what ppl say, here or otherwise, simple straight forward common sense will spell it out. And obviously, if you do it right, you'll make money.

Cialis, not to mention the 30 or so other popular pharmaceuticals out there do/does pay well.

I would caution you against clicking your own ads tho, not so much because it's against the TOS, but because you need to be considerate of the hand that feeds you. They need to make the sales they're after, or they'll dissapear.. simple economics :)

    JLawrence,
If you need a decent affiliate to promote, use www.edrugstore.md, or Compars site, (I've forgotten which one he operates).

Edrugstore have been pretty good in terms of conversions and payouts.. and their figures are some of the best in the business.. I've been using them for years now. :)

    Cheers,

    JL

I wonder what IP address is being tied to my Adsense. Is it the IP Address I used during the registration or the IP's I used when logging into the Adsense site.

There are times that I do use computer from Internet Cafes when Logging into the Adsense site. Now I am worried that clicks from other clients of those cafes to the site of mine if they accidentally visited my sites will cause trouble to my Adsense account.
