Paying via sms

    I saw it on another site, you could send a message with your name etc, and it would charge your mobile bill, and automatically credit you on the site (it was for donations) and I wanted to look into it.

    Couldn't find much on google searching 'paying with sms' etc, but couldn't find anything, and was wondering if anyone had more information/links handy

    halotree, its an alternative way to subscribe if you don't have paypal (at least in my situation), i figured it was a similar system to texting whatever number and getting ringtones/wallpapers/etc for your phone.

    Connections, do you know how they've done that? Like is it custom or a third-party kinda thing?

    Basically your search will help the PSMS payments or Premium SMS payments terms. Premium sms enabled to a site has a meaning only when the traffic is huge as Bundy also mentioned. Also Premium SMS Billing in USA+Canada is compared to EU countries much much different. More flexible and easy to do for EU countries.I'm 5 years in that market let me know if i could give you some more info ;)
