Please buy from them and report them...but I am sure you will find it an elaborate scam and you pay your money and find that your site might be listed anyway, but if not then you have lost your money. If you really believe that a high level editor could consistently list in this way, you don't understand DMOZ. Every editing action on every site is recorded. My very first edit 10 years ago is kept and can be viewed. List, change or alter any site and your name and what you did is recorded.

Heh... you ask for proof, but are unwilling to prove.

On the one hand, we are showing you completed transactions with positive feedback, on the other hand we have you saying it's a bunch of scammers.

Who should people believe, what is put before them that they can see with their own eyes, or the words of someone posting Anonymously?

If you are SURE this is a scam, then why not go over to these places and find the proof yourself? Ya know, the ones with the negative feedback calling the guy a scammer. They should be ALL OVER THE PLACE according to the number of folks here on DP willing to buy their way in. I bet you can't find enough to change anyone's mind. Yeah, there will be a few, there always are... but compared to the number of the positive ones? Come on...

Yes, there are tons of freelancers in GAF who are either Cat Mods or Senior Editors of DMOZ. Just use some searches with "dmoz listing" or "dmoz". Then you will get the reality.

Yes I agree with you. The looser is now trying to protect the corruption.

He thinks those people are mad that they are paying for not getting listed in ODP? Will you pay somebody for nothing? :D

I thought he had some logics, but I am now sure they are all biased just and money crap. That is why tons of Categories are not being Edited for years so that people can get mad for getting listed in DMOZ and even willing to pay for it too. This is also a part of strategic corruption.

It is free to suggest a site to DMOZ. Trying to buy ones way in gets the site banned for ever. If any DMOZ editor accepts money to list a site they are banned for life. If you offer money to an editor they will report you, if any one is ever approached by an editor the report them it is an abuse, it will be thoroughly investigated.

I have been an editor in DMOZ for 10 years.

There is nothing like registration in DMOZ. Hence the free registration too doesn't exist.

your experience does not prove that those completed transactions with positive feedback are nothing but scammers... sorry. Neither do the guidelines of the ODP for that matter. Thanks you for asking others to prove what you simply can not disprove.

My main site is listed without paying for it and it didn't take very long. You should just submit it.

We have seen people paying happily to get listed in DMOZ. Proofs also have been given by the user here. But we haven't seen anywhere been scammed as you said. :)

Well, the amount of completed transactions with positive feedback is certainly on my side. All you have to stand on is your post count here. As there are MANY of them listed, from different people, with different people giving the feedback, yeah, sure... they are all scammers, in fact, as I can not prove otherwise, every single completed transaction on scriptlance with positive feedback is a scam! There has not been a single honest deal there since it was started! Ever time you see something posted there it's a fake, thats right, scriptlance is a complete & total fraud!

Is that what you are saying, or are you just saying that the ones that deal with the ODP are the fake ones?

Your argument is laughable at best!

By the logic you are using, it's pretty safe to say that all listings in the ODP that editors claim are free are paid! I can not prove that any of them are free... so therefor I must be wrong!

So you agree, all the listings in the ODP are paid?

I will remember that post and use it against you in the future. I'm sure that the ODP will as well.

Thanks for actually being truthful for once!

    I agree.

So accordingly to ODP fellows, those who paid and wrote positive feedback are scammed and such a fool that they paid for nothing. I must laugh with such argument.

I have provided the proof of paid listing. Do someone can prove that they got listed for FREE. :D
Lets prove the TRUTH. I have proved already, though I am yet not been able to get that VOLUNTEER CUM FREELANCER EDITOR. :D

So what you are saying is that I'm wrong about the ODP having free links?

Or am I wrong that it's full of paid links?

Your logic is twisting the nature of this thread beyond repair.

Can you not pick a side & stick too it? Can't you spread your logic to all the threads you post in?

If I can not prove that the completed transactions with positive feedback on sites like scriptlance for ODP listings are not scammers, then they must be scammers.

Yet I can also not prove that there are any actual free links within the ODP, therefore they must be paid? Correct?

    Even I too don't have.

I own a News Portal. It was approved by Google News within 6 months of its launch and within 1 month of application.

May be DMOZ is more special in eligibility check than Google News. :p

BTW, I got Red Dissapprove from the protector of corrupt DMOZ Editors. See his(!) message:
