Is it ethical? Can it be done? How much should it cost? And where can people get this from? Basically, I don’t want to do anything unethical that will upset big G. However, I do need to get some quality inbound links to my site. Paying other sites to advertise without the nofollow is unethical. However, is it unethical to get an SEOer to do a bit of marketing to get 'free' quality inbound links from relevant site? I don’t mean article submission or directories, I really don’t need/want these. But actual links from related sites. Will Google see this as another method of buying links?
Link building is ethical...you can find those person here on DP..make a thread in services sections and you will get some one for sure. As far as cost is concerned, it depends on the person who is working and what tactics he uses..Just make sure no black hat SEO is used [ this will upset big G]
If the link building is ethical....But i still the believe that the aggressive link building can hurt your SEO Campaign...
I agree, but my site has been growing over the last couple of years. I now need some high quality/ high PR sites to link to me I'm not looking for quantity, but quality now. Thanks Kanwarjot. I've just placed my ad.
You should define the criteria for 'quality links' and get a link builder to get you quality links. Some of the folks I know on DP do their own link building because some hired link builders can start spamming other webmasters.
Nothing unethical about link building.. as long as you aren't spamming. Make sure to get some references from others before hiring a link builder, because as someone else pointed out.. they may just spam everybody.
Have a look in the link sales forum, many people offer services although they can be of varying quality
