Hoping this is the right place to post this... Hey i was just wondering, if paying for like 5,000 hits to a website it s even worth it, I mean i have done it before and seen some traffic, but does it realy even help cause I had adsense and I payed for like 10,000 hits and nobody even clicked any of the ads even once.
well the person said it was like people that are interested in my niche but i dont really see how that is even possible
Its not worth it. I more prefer natural driven traffic. If you buy traffic the visitor come and goes. They never come back again. So its a waste of money
Thats it, when you are paying for a traffic, you didn't get a great conversion rate its because they are just sending you visitors which are not interested with your site. After seeing your page will just hit the close or back button without reading even single phrase or word from your site. So know your prospects, i mean try to evaluate what kind of visitors you want. And after finding them make a way that you can bring them to your site.
I used to buy once but it didn't work at all. I get traffic from DP and search engine..it is good traffic, small quality visitor but it increasing.
You said right. If someone can to purchase untargeted traffic only, then it is waste of time and money. I also tried this method at the beginning with very weak result so I gave up this. I've offered them a freebie for sign up and to stay, they downloaded it and after this they unsubscribed. I experienced that the best targeted fast traffic come from PPC with long tail keywords. Naturally you also can make good fast traffic from press releases, some of them is free. Also fast method is to make a JV. What others I use? - SEO - article marketing - forum marketing - social marketing - blogging - squido and hub How can you reach these? Of course you need to invest either your money or your work. If it is possible you can outsource these activities and harness the result. Have a nice day, Sandor
most of the traffic i have bought has been rubbish. better just to market your site and bring organic traffic
I'm searching for the same...all this means that, besides PPC, is impossible to get paid traffic that converts? And what about banners or in context links in high traffic sites of same subject as yours?...better results?
Why buying traffic is not worth it: 1) Visitors bounce 2) Visitors do not convert into sales If you want your site to be successful you need traffic of visitors that are interested in what you are offering and unfortunately you have to work for that kind of traffic. (Ex. Market, promote, advertise.)
Be aware of some traffic sold on ebay - I bought one about 4 months ago for one of the websites - pure scam - automatic traffic generator - got my money back, but sill a hassle - so do your research. Trying now two more for new site - will advise.
Always buy traffic from reputable company that only focuses on selling traffic. Immensehits would be a good example.
You need to be careful before considering going for traffic purchase. One, it might pose a risk towards your adsense account and second, it's actually possible for google to find out that all the traffic is actually bought and thus jeopardize your ranking. Since it doesn't convert at all, I don't understand why you need to continue using it. The money is much better spent elsewhere for promotion and getting quality contents for your site.
Buying traffic is not only a waste of money, but may (probably) violates adsense tos. So you are risking your google account for something that won't monetize anyway.
just go with good ole elbow grease, blood, sweat and tears. Build up link and Lots of original content and you will start to see the traffic flow in. Good luck Cheers
lilsimon04, the bottom line is, if you want a lot of consistent, quality traffic, you are going to have to pay for it.
I think you mean to say.... SEO the site correct for lots of consistent, quality traffic. As far as traffic providers go it all depends on where you get the traffic from. I recommend that if you do go the traffic route then make sure the company has a good standing Publishers Networks backing them up, but keep in mind that most all traffic companies that don't run off of a publishers network usually rely on GPT(get paid to),scripts,un-targeted traffic types. Now don't get me wrong... I'm not saying that Publisher Network based traffic sites are highly recommended either, but from my experiences they are the only types I have come accross that actually comply with Google Adsense, Yahoo Publishers Network Terms of Service, and they are the ONLY types I have actually seen conversions/roi on. --Thanks
