paying for submitters

I am starting to think that paying people on DP for link submissions is a waste of money  . A few years ago I actually got results and a nice spread sheet to go along with it. My last 3 attempts I never even got a response back!.. I didn't sweat it as it was only $10 spent. How ever its the fact.

Ill just do it myself now now on, it will take a long time but at least I can choose what directory I want my link in, and not a Spam Farm.

Of course it's a waste of money. Why should someone pay people to get the job done if it's possible to buy automatic social bookmarking software (so you pay ONLY ONCE)? It will be much better investment which will pay for itself.

You get what you pay for. lol

    "$10 bucks for 1000's submitted to search engines and directories. I will submit to 5 PR7, 20 PR5, 100 PR3, etc,.."

That don't work, those people will submit to any directories on their list regardless of what it is, you'll just get an email saying "Your site has been rejected", if you get them at all.

There are a few that will submit them to a free quality list, but you need to do some home work as who they are and they aren't cheap because doing the submitter isn't that easy as you may have known that already.

Use the plugin InFormEnter to do manual submission yourself.

I agree, submitting yourself is the better option as you know where you are submitting to.

You should choose the right people to help you submitting your sites.
anyway if you have time it's best to submit by yourself.

If you want to get backlinks from directory,i think you should submit it to high quality sites, such as dmoz.but i think you also could use other ways to get baclinks.

It is always good to submit the site into handful of directories but the quality one. We never need good number of backlinks but some good quality backlinks.

100% legit if we do it ourself. Just need time and energy to do. Wonder ,you do it manually or with the help of soft? If soft, what soft u use?
