do you usually send paid posts to blogs for backlinks? this question is for you: would you pay more to send to a focused blog (subject in line with your links, of course) instead of sending to a "general" blog that posts about everything?
I personally would prefer niche related ones and a few general ones if they are old and have good PR.
well im the one to sell links on my blog -- its basically general, but a lot of inner topics, like lets say Games -- There is a games category for all gaming topics and in that category it helps the person that bought the gaming links, same niche is usually better but general blogs are usually more open like mine
I agree. Although it would be better if the site were completely related to only your topic, getting a post in a well PR'd category can go a long way.
yeah, thats why i am trying to raise the PR of some of my most popular categories, such as Travel and SEO get more sales that way along with the good PR front page
I'll pay several times more for a blog where the whole site is one subject ie travel or automotive. You can get posts on general blogs for next to nothing.
The tag and bag method works well. I am looking forward to the next PR update to see exactly how well it does work. Col
