Paying for directory listing?

botw.org, hotvsnot.com, romow.com, vmoptions.com, joeant.com, yahoo directory too if you have the $. There are other good ones but these I continually use for my sites and they show up as backlinks and are quickly indexed. The are much stronger then free directories too.

 

On different FreeLancers sites you can find freelancers who can submit your web site to 2000-3000 directories fo $15-$30,
you will get minimum 300-500 baklinks.
I think it's not good idea.

 

You can get listed in yahoo for free by applying for the regional directories.

My comment is a generalization and was not intended to specifically point out one particular free directory. As a whole, most free directories lack the resources and features I want. Certainly a handful of free directories exist that are solid, but in such cases I would pay for a review anyway.

 

And what would it be that free directories are lacking and you're looking for?
Can you give me an example of what any of paid directory offers you and free doesn't?

To answer - there are many good pay for review directories. Which one is the right one for you will depend on your personal criteria. I know that I have several favorites - some of which people I know and trust don't like but they still serve me very well. To name one of my favorites - JoeAnt has always been high on my list.

I think, that is not true with every directory

 

I will say... submit on every singe directory which is free and payfor some direct back links... That should be ok
