Paying by EGold sucks BIG TIME!

I say this because of one guy who still has an active account here at DP and he is still doing business.

This guy says he is a php programmer/coder.

I hired him for some work and paid him twice (how stupid am I?). I used Paypal->EGold services because he said he can only accept EGold.

Now I know why. There is no comeback for EGold transactions.

I paid $250 and $300 to this guy and he has given me zip, nil, zero and now refuse to reply to my refund requests.

I went through a LOT of his threads for EGold->Paypal exchanges (can't do Paypal huh?) and heaps call him a scammer because he did Paypal chargebacks immediately after sending money via Paypal and receiving his money via Egold. Most likely he uses hacked Paypal accounts.

What else can I do? I am hoping he will see this thread and reply to it to give up his side of the story?

Yes, apparently there's no chargeback in e-Gold/ Got scammed once here too.
One thing you could try is just report this to e-gold to freeze his egold account, but you still lose your money (what a smart move from e-gold 'eh?).

Hope, somehow, you could get your money back.

I will give him opportunity to give his view first. He's online at MSN right now and I sent a link to this thread.

If he does not respond to me privately or through here in 24 hours, then I feel it is my duty to make his name known.

I have this feeling he uses dup accounts in all measures. For example, Paypal, EGold, DP and others. So, if he gets shut down in one place he will open another account.

You know a funny thing about this? A reputable DP member put me onto him. He told me this guy scammed him. Then he said "No, it's OK. He came through after a lot of pushing and shoving".

But, now I read all of his threads and I just shook my head.

I'm pretty sure it's not you, axlarry, Cheap SEO Services or ichigo as they are well known members of the forum and wouldn't risk it and do this to Col doesn't mean they didn't though.

Now that sucks! Talking about reputable member, I got scammed from a member with quite a lot iTrader in his profile!

Paying by egold does have its downsides. It is said paypal favors the buyer because of chargebacks while egold favors the seller because there is no way we can request a refund.

 

I am a fair man. I will give this guy time to think things over. He knows he owes me $550. There's no arguing over that. He has limited time now to contact me.

By tomorrow I will have my refund or this guy will face the DP jury.

I am telling the truth. Most DP members know I am a honest businessman and have been for a very long time. Whether it be buying or selling.
To be fair, I am not giving out any details about him or his dealings without giving him the chance to fix this problem.

If he doesn't fix it, well, then he will be fully exposed tomorrow.

no extreme poor man of doing jobs as a programmer/analyst. (endless jobs daily!!!)
giving the last chance seems not a bad idea.
